Happy B A...(Birthday and Anniversary)....

....a belated dual celebration meal in Peebles. Weez (our wee sister) was 50 last month, and Nancy and I recently passed the 25 year milestone of the date we legalised our relationship.  Some of the party had selected afternoon tea whilst others chose from the Christmas menu. Those choosing the turkey roulade had the best culinary experience and I looked-on jealousy at the gravy and cranberry sauce as I chewed on my soggy cheese and tomato sandwich which, shockingly, still had crusts left on. 

Earlier I had cycled nowhere in the garage, but boy did I enjoy the hot shower as it was freezing outside and in the garage. 

On completion of the celebrations, we headed directly home as we had tickets for the village ceilidh. On arrival we both felt pooped and wisely chose to don our jammies and settle down in front of the fire and the TV for an early night. Shame to miss the dancing, but perhaps two parties in one day is beyond us now.
