Shiny Stuff

Emergency Blip, Christmas Tree. This looks remarkably like an image from a few days ago, except the discerning eye will note that the ornaments are now in place. I also tried using AvCamPro, which contributes to the tinselly vibe.

The big news around here is that a tornado that struck in Scotts Valley, the next town up the road. Cars were flipped over, power lines went down, poles toppled. I don’t think there were any major injuries, amazingly enough, but a lot of property damage from something that lasted only a few seconds. We expect earthquakes here, not tornados. Our part of town had heavy rain in the middle of the night. Lots of wind and noisy rattling of anything not nailed down. We have a break right now, but I think there are still storm advisories into next week.
