Wreath Making

Thanks so much for your very kind words and support for my son and his  car accident. His insurance company is paying for his rental car, which he picked up this morning. We'll cross the damaged car bridge when we need to. But mostly we'll all so grateful that everyone is fine. 

My son and the grands came over for lunch today - actually I picked them all up, took them to the rental car place, and then brought the kids home while my son finished up the paperwork on the car. Then we had lunch and had a good chat.

After they left, I took the trimmings from the bottom of the Christmas tree and made a wreath. I snuck onto the golf course and cut some Incense Cedar and Blue Atlas Cedar. I added various bits of lichen and cones and there it is! It was too dark by the time I finished to take a photo of it in its entirety, so here's a little vignette. I really love including gathered bits of natures in my wreaths.

Onto cleaning the house and getting ready for the party on Monday!
