Birding

A couple or three bluebirds came by today to check out the houses.  Jerry had to make some repairs to them as the squirrels did some major chewing this summer.   He now has metal on the faces so that they can't chew the entry holes bigger.

There were also some house finches and a brown thrasher as well as the usual visitors of wrens, nuthatches, sparrows and doves.  Doves are mean birds!!

I have some kind of blah stuff going on but I did manage to get some raking done in the front yard.  Most of the oak leaves are gone from the limbs but the hickories and some other trees are still full and wearing their old gold or burnt red color.

I have been falling down on commenting on Blipfoto for some reason.  Got to get myself into a better practice.   Sometimes I just post and don't even bother to look at your photos but I want to do so.   Too many things to do and not enough time.    And this week was not a good online week since the blahs.
