Nova Prestatyn Christmas Parkrun

After a long day yesterday, it would have been easy just to roll over in bed but I was determined to go to the Prestatyn Parkrun as one of the local running clubs, The St Asaph Striders, had organised a Christmas-themed run.

Compared to some of the others, I was pretty much under-dressed in a Santa hat and Christmas running shirt as others turned up in full Sata suits, Christmas pudding outfits and Christmas trees on legs. There was also a runner in a full Grinch outfit.

The tide was high blowing spray onto the course, there was a stiff northerly wind and I was well out of practice. I finished in 44th place with a time of exactly 29 minutes.
