Nature Diary... Success!!

Such a beautiful day! 
Unbelievably calm and mild, and so very peaceful after the crazy mad weather we've experienced recently. The photo was taken at midday today when there was barely a breath of wind. Wonderful!
The day was spent at home, 'far from the madding crowd' with just about all the Christmas shopping now completed, except for a couple of special items ordered from Amazon (including some wrapping paper...oops! Forgot to get that when going round the shops!)
So today was a catch-up day with both sons, to make sure all the gift requests have been fulfilled, including those for the grandchildren.
Everything super organised and early this year!
A beautiful day to sit and relax, to enjoy the view with the sheep newly arrived in the field, and to feel just a tiny bit smug!!
