Saturday

An afternoon with Mum in the same shops as I was in yesterday! Annoying. 
I went into Boots to get Ibuprofen Gel for my headache, cue 20 questions from her, how do you know it will work, where are you going to put it, how much do you put on. She stood so close to me I had no space to move. 
Then into Sainsburys for bits for her to take places. She had a list but also wanted to wander, I said I didn't, she had a list lets get what's on it and go. She told me I wasn't making it a nice shopping experience for her, I told her she wasn't making it nice for me either. She then trailed behind me as I led the way to the things she needed. She stood for ages looking at each thing and the products next to it then picked her item up. I know she is getting older  and I should have more compassion, but I can't , not with her. 

I dropped her off and listening to my therapists voice I had a walk before I went home. Time to cool off, breathe and feel space. The lighthouse has all its colours back and my favourite has been captured. The walk helped, and I came home a bit calmer.
