Post Box Topper Blip!

Oh he thinks he's funny :-) 
We were excited to see the Big Reveal on the village post box Christmas Topper.. you may remember the mice riding a sleigh last year.. today we found the Grinch just lounging around!  Much fun.  "I'll Blip that," I said.  And there, suddenly, was Mr KCNQ2Haiku!
We had a little walk along the bridle path, playing a game of 'guess what I've just found in the bottom of my bag.'  It's a bit like 20 questions, except for the anarchy when it comes to the rules!  There was no counting of questions and I was allowed a narrative answer :-) 
It was a small silicon dog brush, if anyone was hanging on for the result!
Other than that we lit the fire, baked some cookies, attempted a 1000 piece crossword (completed about 26 pieces) and that's about it.  I'm calling it a Rest Day.  Ben is a bit agitated at the slower pace but sometimes it's just necessary.  He's on the trampoline now and we'll play some board games later.  He won a game of 'throw, throw burrito' on the tombola at the school fair yesterday so that's a bit of nightmare as obviously all he wants to do it throw burritos at my head.. hopefully he'll be swayed towards monopoly!
