Sunday morning walk in the park

This morning I decided to go out for a walk while it was still bright sunny and cool. I must have spent a couple of hours out in the park. I stared out with a few shots of the daytime moon then moved onto some shots of the thistles. I grabbed this shot with the bumble bee landing on the flower.

I continued for my walk and came to some pine trees and there were some nuthatches in the tree. I had them coming for peanuts for almost a half hour they kept taking turns getting the peanuts and showing the young one's how to do it. The young nuthatches would fly close but were not daring enough to land for a peanut. I also found out my battery on my camera was almost dead so I did not get as many shots as I would have liked.
