The S & H's new toy.......rebuilt from an old Honda 125.

Unfortunately it's going to be the shortest ownership in history.......he's a tall well built lad....over 6ft 3in.......he rode the bike for the first time yesterday.....the drop handlebars didn't do his back any good.......and then this morning in the rain he discovered the limitations of the drum brakes....and nearly had a nasty accident.....so it's going to his mate who did most of the restoration and who is much smaller and lighter.

Which all means I'm lending him the money to buy a more up to date bike....hopefully tomorrow!

Fishing was good today....pelting down with rain when I got up....pelting down all the way there....and as soon as we drew pegs it stopped raining.....the clouds broke....the Sun came out....and we had a glorious day. I caught 8 small carp....6 small tench.....and a couple of skimmers and roach...and came third........and I've just pasted D and B at crib over a few beers.

Still no news on the Dad front, although he has spoken to my sis and his version of Thursday's events is a lot different to mine!
