Blipper In The Bushes

I don't know if this fellow was a blipper or not, but it's certainly something a blipper would do in pursuit of a shot. He's aiming at a large waterfall and had to do some serious rock climbing to get where he is. I hope for all his determination he got the shot he wanted.

Mary Jo and I spent several hours in Whatcom Falls Park and then went on the the Humane Society's dog "event" where they had a barking contest, obedience demos and a kissing contest (we didn't get to see that one -- too bad!) and all sorts of fun things for dogs and their owners to do. There was also a parade of adoptable dogs and I could have brought home every one of them. There are so many wonderful people helping homeless animals that it makes me feel good.

One of these days I'm going to find "my" dog. I really would like to adopt an older dog -- perhaps one whose owner has died, or one whose family moved and couldn't take him/her along. And I want a big dog, but I may have to rethink that one since I live in 500 square feet and there's barely room enough for me, Snuffy and Lizzie. Oh, who cares -- we'll make it work. He/she can have half the bed, Lizzie and I will take the other half. Hopefully, Snuffy will stick to his favorite spot by the window. There is a limit.
