Painted Lady

A big trip for us this morning.  OGH will be closed tomorrow because of the weather (40 degrees and probably a fire ban); so we went up to put the closed signs on the gates. 

It's my first visit for a good 5 weeks.  And ..... I drove home.  So much easier than I expected.

The garden was looking more than a bit dry, but was alive with butterflies.  This is a Painted Lady or Vanessa kershawi
