Monster cactus
Cereus peruvianus monstrose is a type of cactus that is native to Peru. It is a popular plant among collectors due to its strange and unique appearance. The plant can grow up to 6 feet tall (but I've read different heights). Now it's about 32"/81 cm. It's easy to see why it's called the monster cactus. Here's the first time I blipped it, 13 years ago. After I posted the original, the left side froze and I had to lop it off to save the cactus.
Silly me woke up with a swollen lip. Yesterday, I thought that my gums were bleeding a little. Turns out, I had given my lip a good bite when my face was numb. The day was spent reading and washing my bed pillows and sheets, which took forever. I also had to go to my audiologist's office to give them a copy of my insurance card. I'm still trying to have them put in a claim for my hearing aids for which I paid a ton of money earlier this year. I hope everyone had an incident free Friday the 13th :-)

At Christmas, a man went into a posh store and asked the lady assistant whether she had any ideas for a Christmas present for his wife.
“How about some perfume?” the assistant said and showed him a bottle costing £100.
“That’s a bit much,” he said, so she returned with a smaller bottle for £50. “That’s still quite a bit,” the man complained.
Growing annoyed, the assistant brought out a tiny £30 bottle.
“What I mean,” said the man with a sigh, “is that I’d like
to see something really cheap.”
The exasperated lady handed him a mirror.
