The nightmare before Christmas…

… hopefully not?
We spent all day in the car driving down to Filey to meet up with my sister and brother in law for a pre-Christmas get together. We have a beautiful rented property for the weekend, just one row back from the beach. It is so quiet and peaceful. At 7.30pm we headed out to get fish and chips but unfortunately all the chip shops had closed, two restaurants could not accommodate us but the third did and it was lovely. Arrived back to find our organised trip for tomorrow, with my cousin and wife, at Spurn Head, had been cancelled. Oh well, I’m sure we will find an alternative, just spending time by the sea is a treat!
