The Howgills

We met some friends at Kirkby Stephen station today - it's a while since I've been there - and went for a pub lunch. After we dropped them back off at the station, we set off for home, but looking at the clouds hanging on the Howgills, had to take a detour to get some photos. 

Though I did walk to the end of this road to get the unencumbered view of the Howgills, I preferred this shot with the dark road leading in.
