Bath Christmas Market, Abbey Green
Into Bath on the bus first thing this morning to tick off the errands that I didn’t have time for on Wednesday. Instead of wandering around the Christmas Market in the rain, met up with a friend in the same cosy pub as two days ago, overlooking the market in Abbey Green, to exchange Christmas presents and catch-up over a warming glass of Mulled Wine. After two hours in town I was glad to head home, Bath was heaving. A damp Bath Abbey in extras.
One of my errands was to exchange the wreath I’d bought at the local fruit and veg stall on Wednesday for a larger one. As he’d sold out of the larger wreath, the stall holder very kindly offered to get one from his warehouse and drop it off outside my house when he passes my way on Monday, at 4am! Now that’s what’s I call customer service!!
Still fighting fires in every direction, hoping things will calm down at the weekend and normal blip service will return.
Thank you so much for all your recent kind stars and hearts.
