Old and new

A trip to Glasgow by train today for an early Christmas present from Oli and Angela - an outing to GFT to watch “The Bishop’s Wife”, a nice feel-good black & white Christmassy film to get us in the mood for the coming festive season. (Last year they treated us to “It’s a Wonderful Life” in the Cameo in Edinburgh).

On the way along Sauchiehall Street I was struck by the clearance of the old buildings with modern blocks behind. I think the notice on the advertisement is a bit premature though.
