North Tyne Voices at Wallington
Our choir sang twice at Wallington Hall today. We sang at 1230 and 1330 to enthusiastic audiences.
It was VERY cold and I picked up the WRONG TROUSERS this morning, so I was decidedly chilly.
It was great fun. You can see us all in the extra.
Steve enjoyed posing for me in Santa's sleigh.
I dropped him off at Hexham Abbey to help Lesley prepare for tomorrow's Abbey Christmas Fayre. She makes beautiful candles every year. I'll be there in the morning.
Then I went to Cogito (our wonderful independent bookshop) and found books for children's presents. I just hope they suit because the last time I saw the children was months ago. It was exciting to browse and see all the wonderful books in the children's section.
I called to see Margret. There were 3 visitors in a queue waiting while she saw the physio. Not great. She has a chest infection so that is miserable. Whenever she catches a cold it "goes to her chest" and she needs antibiotics. Of course, they want to test before prescribing anything.
I've cooked a chicken casserole so I'm off to eat it now!
