JR went to the gym this morning! There was no coughing when she woke, and she feels much better. I’m still coughing, but sleeping much better. On track to be fighting fit for our visitors next week!

JR has become obsessed with gold sparkly balls. The new table decoration, instead of greenery is now gold glittery balls, twinkling lights, and gold candles. She brought a few more balls back from her visit to town this afternoon. . Archie looks impressed…

Archie and I took a big walk down to Morningside. But I didn’t have my usual reward: either a scone and coffee in the cafe opposite the pub, where I sometimes have a beer and crisps - both too busy.

We walked up the hill, popping in to various shops (most are dog friendly) before we got the bus home.

Then I dusted the cabinet and washed all the items. Then I set up the newly found string of lights.
