Fat

Went up to feed the little blighters, as it's been quite cold the last couple of nights. Put out both seed and fat balls including some crumbs on the wee tray, and was surprised to see the spudgers going for the fat first.

Noticed that the council had thoroughly scraped the side of the pavement on Prospect Bank (extra) in the section where the spotted catsear lives - but it's survived this at least twice in the past, so must be pretty deep-rooted. (Anyway, I have a youngster in a pot at the allotment).
