One up - one down
Today, four young men arrived with chainsaws to fell a Leylandii tree in our garden. It was quite slow growing but we were concerned it would leave a hole in the view from the house.
After some debate we finally decided it had to go so we accepted a horrendously large quote from a tree surgeon. They were very efficient and did the job with little mess. `They had a massive shredder which was amazing. In case you think this a rather small tree, I should explain that it is the final twiggy bit.
Also today we erected a tiny Christmas tree in the house that had survived since last Christmas.
Because it's Friday 13th, what could possibly go wrong? Well, Janes car is completely dead so we have had to call out the RAC. It is an EV and apparently it is likely to be the small 12v battery that keeps all the electronics alive.
