Hungry bird

I made a foray to the kitchen for a cup of tea and some toast to take back to bed but had a bit of a surprise.  JJ was in his office because he didn't want to disturb me.  He forgot to take his golf shoes with him this morning, but he didn't mind because it was drizzly.

Back to bed and then I forced myself to wash and dress late morning.

Shopping delivered and put away and I'm now going to slump in a chair and continue to feel sorry for myself.

I did spot this unwelcome visitor.
