Normanby Hall
Normanby Hall was the home of the Sheffield family, former Dukes of Buckingham and original owners of Buckingham Palace. The current Hall was built between 1825-1830 and are to the designs of Robert Smirke, for Sir Robert Sheffield.
It is now maintained by North Lincolnshire Council and is open to the public, both the house and gardens are one of the areas main tourist attractions. The gardens especially are beautiful no matter what season, today saw lots of locals taking advantage of the lovely weather, and supporting our local heritage. It really was a lovely walk, they even had a brass band playing out the front of the Hall when i arrived, however they were packing away by the time i go round to take my photos..heyho.
Also bought a season ticket so i can visit as many times as i like...plenty of walks around the gardens me thinks :-)
