Sun shines through

Took mum to hospital appt for prep before knee surgery. Picked up my charger enroute. I had become noticeably more anxious and restless. Exacerbated by stories from Norway to complete strangers about leaving her son of 11 to stay with friends of the family to help them out financially. I decided I wanted to go home to my boys, so sadly cancelled Michelle for the wknd here. Although she had been poorly this week. Mum took me to the station and I told her, again, how I find it distressing when she talks about Norway,especially that aspect. She doesn't remember me telling her before, so this maybe an ongoing situation.

Happy to see FK and MrK briefly before he went off for padel. I cooked carbonara pasta bake for us all including Scotty and Luke.
