Water Baby

Well, plans changed early this morning when the scuba diving trip was cancelled, supposedly due to a mechanical fault with the motor. Now on for tomorrow, Saturday. Instead it was pool day again, which the children especially enjoy. After a lot of gentle persuasion, I bravely went in the water. A historic moment.  I was pushed into the deep end of a pool when I was very young, and have disliked anything to do with water and swimming ever since. Once I'd become accustomed to the feeling of being in there, I actually quite enjoyed it!!! You are never too old to try something new.....of course,  photo not taken by me ..
A couple of hours with J's family at their hotel this evening, for a lovely bbq. Around 6pm, thunder, lightning and a lot of warm rain. ...we didn't stay late, an early night is really needed.
