The Gap in the Fence…..

This rickety old fence was once one of the jumps in the Pony club Grounds. The Pony Club has long gone having been moved to a rural location some distance from town. When ponies jumped through the gap they would have needed to make a sharp turn to the left or right to avoid falling into the adjacent Doctors Creek. Great spectator sport.
It has been another very hot and humid day here. 30C plus in the shade. Phew! I went to the Pastel Painters Xmas Pot Luck lunch this morning. A happy time. Then I had great friends visiting me this afternoon. A busy time of the year.
