I decided to clip the guinea pigs claws before we head off on our holidays.

I had done most of them, then Jack pushed his claw suddenly and I nipped him. There was quite a bit of blood.

In case you are wondering...a styptic pen that I sometimes use when wet shaving.

It proper upset me to think I hurt him. I'll probably leap up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night due to guilt.

Oscar was upset too. But he calmed when he had them both on his lap.

I like this shot. In fact it is one of the things I like doing with the iPhone. Shooting from above parallel to the surface below. Great for food shots by the way.
