Golden Blades!

Today, after a slight slow start due to too many sherberts last night, we mustered force and went to see the paralympics anniversary games.

The big Team GB names were there: Jonny Peacock, David Weir, Hannah Cockcroft. They all spoke of how much the legacy of the games means to them - the profiles of their sports has been raised immesaurably.

It was great to see how much the kids had remebered of the Olympics and how much more they were into it this year. Caitlin in particular was enraptured for the 2.5 hours we were there.

This guy - Richard Whitehead, stole the show. He came from last place at 60m to steam through to win the race. Amazing
