I didn't realize when I took this picture that it was so dull and poorly lit, and didn't bother to look at it until just now. Oh well - it's a good story anyway.

I left my wallet on the bus today, and got a call from Laura a little while before I was leaving work letting me know that someone had dropped it off at the office of my apartment building in an envelope with my name on it, with this note, and refused to leave a way to contact her.

Unfortunately, I can't uncancel my debit cards, but it was a nice way to end my day anyway.

(If you're wondering, I have three nice wallets, all received as gifts, and this is what I actually carry from day to day. Sometimes I "dress up" with a wallet that actually has an inside.)
