Not Standing Here

I didn't plan on standing on our newly arrived hob and oven ;-)
Three weeks ago I destroyed the glass of our hob.
There was no possibility to just replacing the hob and because the oven had some issues, too, we had to go for a new one.
I'm somehow glad, that the time of very careful cooking is over.
(No fluid on the cracked glass to prevent an electric short circuit)
The upcoming Christmas baking will be another challenge in the new oven...

Later I had to go to the city administration to get confirmation that I was alive. I got three stamps and a signature on the form. Then the official said: "That's 25€". Wow, that's expensive! When I took my wallet with a sigh, he laughed at me. He was kidding me. It was free! Our city administration is simply lovely. (For H0tamer: at least since Mrs. W. no longer works there!)
