Thursday: Number Three

It was a work from home day which was pleasant.  Our street is doing a very nice thing with various houses decorating their windows advent-calendar style.  Each day a new one gets revealed.  If you’re lucky, this could be a continuing blip them right up until Christmas.

Someone whom I didn’t meet did something very nice for me today.  I went to the shops this morning and, later in the day, couldn’t find my debit card anywhere.  I went on the app to freeze it and found that it was actually cancelled.  When I rang the bank, they said that someone had reported it lost this morning.  I obviously dropped it, someone found it and did the right thing.  The bank lady and I had a nice chat about how lovely that was.
