Thursday: Penygroes, Talysarn and Church Island
Today was “Wreaths Day” - up at 7am, a very chilly Zero degrees centigrade.
Breakfast then MrD defrosted his van. Off to Tatws Trading at the market in Llangefni to buy 5 wreaths.
Over the bridge to the mainland, arriving at Penygroes cemetery around 11am. Found all 3 graves without any hitches, very cold so returned quickly to the van.
Stopped for elevenses at the vineyard nearby, they found us a very small table and we enjoyed delicious gluten free cake with tea and coffee :-)
Down through Nantlle valley to Caernarfon where we did a bit of Christmas shopping at Tesco before returning to Anglesey, stopping at Church Island to place a wreath on my grandparents’ grave.
MrD ordered Fish and Chips for tea which we ate watching TV with the log burner warming us.
This evening watched film “Lift” on Netflix - https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/81446739 - which was funny, action packed and had a happy ending :-)
