A quick morning wander around Grasmere. There weren’t many people around but I caught a parent and baby walking group on the most photogenic corner in the village.

I popped into the Co-op for a look around as it reopened late last month after a 2 month closure for refurbishment. I didn’t notice many changes. Bought a loaf of bread.

Then home for some more Christmas card writing followed by lunch. That was a disaster. I had one out of date egg that needed using so decided on pancakes. There was nothing wrong with the egg but it just wasn’t my day for good pancakes.
