Tides

It's been a long time, Blipfoto!

I have been unwell with ME/CFS, which means that even when I have taken photos, sitting in front of the computer to edit and upload them often takes more energy than I have available. I am posting this in December(!), as I have been feeling a little better for the past few weeks and felt that it was time to check in.

Our trip to the west highlands of Scotland looked a little different this year. I wasn't able to walk far, and my grandparents are slowing down too. Combine that with almost constant rain, and we spent a lot of time indoors reading or sketching out of the windows! We had one very sunny day, and we went to the beach near Glenuig. The kids had great fun paddling in the water and digging in the sand, as did the dogs, while I sat on a picnic mat taking photos from a distance!

My Granny is great with the kids. She loves how interested Bingo is in everything, and takes the time to look at things with him and talk about what they see. My childhood was filled with memories of this place, and my grandparents; and I am grateful my kids get to share that too.
