Fun on the River

Woke to the sound of the rain pelting down quite heavily..... after such a beautiful day yesterday - shame!!

Anyway, after a nice breakfast of black pudding and poached egg (from the Butcher in Banchory that the queen gets her butcher meat from) headed off to walk Breagha and saw these kids playing in the river.

We met a couple at Rodney with two kids and funny that when I looked at the camera it's the same kids that are here!

Took a wee run to the Willowbrae Wooden Shack at the side of the Friarton Bridge for a coffee and scone (not to be confused with Scone (Scoon) for the English people reading this ...) and scone rating is 8 out of 10. Have suffered scone deprivation this fortnight and it was bliss sitting with a coffee and eating a good one (marks off for the jam not being home made!!)

Back to w*** tomorrow - it's been a great holiday and I'm not thinking of the W word yet... Must remember to set alarm!!
