The day of the big beano! Yes, the A4 club outing to Howie’s to catch up with the old colleagues. Old Edgar and I met up in the Guildford beforehand with Messrs Baxter and Cowan before we stepped up along Waterloo Place. And before long it was over and time to step back to the Guildford, shedding members as we went. And then there were just four, and before long, three and we called for one for the road.
