erratic weather so I decided not to finish painting the summerhouse

instead I turned my attention to the "party-wall" fence

I think Ted built it around 1994 and for much of its life it was covered by ivy

hay fever is a funny condition...it was only after I started using the deck regularly I found out how allergic I was to the dusty debris trapped in the verdant growth

and worse - it was a snail sanctuary so despite the sneezing I have stripped it out over three weekends

and started its first treatment of colour in 18 years!!!
