Made it!

Was it worth getting up at 4.30am? Yes, I think is the simple answer. And hopefully captured in this picture of splashy happiness. Was going to be a picture of the hombre de la casa in one of his favourite spots having a beer in the pool. But the kids were having none of it.

Before this there was lunch at Digame on the beach and afterwards there was dinner at Sabina's. Arriving on a Sunday does mean limited shopping options but normal order will be restored and Carlos will get the BBQ fired up tomorrow.

Am very impressed the kids stayed up for dinner. Actually, that we all did. Oh and notably we played 8 hands of poker and on each round the person to the left of the dealer won.

And now for a good sleep in the silent dark.
