Further my skills

Today I had my "yearly" stress ECG and ultrasound scan. The bike ride went fine, I managed the two minutes of 150Watt. The next step was 200W (I had a 50W-step ride), but that was too much for me. I only managed a couple of pedal rotations. But that was okay, according to the computer my target was 145W anyway. My pulse went up, as did the blood pressure. But only the upper (systolic) value, the lower (diastolic) value stayed flat at 60mmHg.
The doctor was happy with my ECG, no change since last time. Also the ultrasound didn't show anything new.

Today I learned for the first time what my heart performance (or health) actually is: 51%. I had heard one of the cardiologists, who looked at my heart through ultrasound, say something like "oha!" And I knew the heart attack in 2015 was close to the final one because one major artery was 93% blocked, hence a large part of my heart was necrotic. But not what it actually meant. So, I am really happy to manage only 150W.
And: carpe diem!!
