The tree is up
But not decorated. I went to work at the Town Surgery, then came home. A client and I decided to go up to the day hospice/ wellbeing centre for a look round, and Google Maps took us up a crazy Cotswold twisty road that turned out to be closed. We dived down a lane instead, but that was also closed. Cue lots of reversing, swearing, hundred-point turns and so on.
When we got there, no one could show us around. So we had a walk around the grounds and I'm going to go back there on Fri with her and her dad to the coffee morning, which is official meet 'n' greet time. She liked the atmosphere, which was my point, really, and texted me afterwards to say she'd had fun, and adventure. I'm so glad she saw the funny side.
I resisted chocolate today (had one piece of shortbread with chocolate chips baked in) in the form of Lindor sweets, and guess what? No headache! The headache which had started on Sunday after having had a hot chocolate and about four chocolate coins vanished after about twenty hours.
No, I am not going to experiment to see which types of chocolate give me a headache. It's not worth trying then all in turn to see the result. Easier to Just say no. Worse things happen at sea.
