Lanzarote Day 3

After yesterday's activity, an easier day today. We took a drive to the Parc Nacional de Timanfaya where you leave your car and then take a coach trip through some fantastic scenery created by the volcanic eruptions in the 18th and 19th centuries. There is quite strict access to this area meaning it is incredibly well preserved, the scenes like a lunar landscape with extremely sparse vegetation. The light was constantly changing, we had a couple of showers but light and short-lived and one gave us the rainbow in the main blip shot from the car park. The two extras were taken out of the coach window!
