Piles

I bumped into former colleague The Teenager today, and having found her way in and out of Stirling University since I last saw her, she is now a graduate and is not now a teenager.

She is also British now, having been Italian until quite recently. She is still Italian as well, which is nice. She can live in Scotland, where both her parents live, and have freedom of movement with her Italian passport.

Neither of her parents are Italian. One of them is Argentinian with Italian roots.

It begs the question as to why I seem to be the only person I know who does not have Irish (or other EU) family.

It was great to see her, but it has left me slightly morose. That and another red light incident at the same pedestrian crossing as yesterday. This time the driver did not stop. Fortunately I was only about 1/3 of the way across the street so she missed me by 3-4 metres.

Next (and last) on my agenda for today is some reading. The Max Seeck book, I think... maybe.
