Wednesday: Currently Reading

We woke up to a pleasant morning, hardly a breeze of wind, very cold (barely above 0°C) and it stayed dry all day.

After breakfast MrD went to B&Q to buy wire clips to hold the glass in place on the repaired side of the greenhouse - we have some of these clips somewhere but neither of us had any luck with our searching.

Whilst one side of the greenhouse is clear I lifted the large tray and the black plastic covering, found lots of slugs and collected them to transfer into one of the compost bins.

A relaxing afternoon of reading - today’s book by a favourite author of my sadly deceased “Big Sister” Margaret and my favourite too but I think this is going to be difficult because of the racism, we’ll see how it goes …
