W-I-D-E on Wednesday: Red

This proved to be a useful quick blip subject on a busy day. C1aire has set the Widwed theme this week as "Red" and I was able to grab this shot in our local shopping street early this morning. I'm not quite sure how hair can be "impertinent, sarcastic or impudent" (which seem to be the main definitions of "sass") although I guess that term could perhaps have been applied to my rather chaotic and over-long hair as I was taking the photo. By chance I was already planning to get mine cut later today - but not at that hairdressers! (I'd decided not to get it cut before going to Iceland recently as I reckoned I'd need all the head insulation I could get.) So at least I'm now nice and tidy for the Christmas season.

PS I'm a bit behind with hosting duties for last weekend's Silly Saturday challenge, but I hope to announce the Hearts & HMs in the next day or two.
