Red Jacket

We went out to lunch today for Marian's birthday. The food was very good but unfortunately, the service - not so much. Christmas and large parties is The issue at this time of year and personally I don't think there's any excuse for bad service. If you haven't got the capability, you shouldn't take the booking. Ah well, we made our point when it came to paying the bill. It's a shame because we've eaten there quite a few times and all's been good.

It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge today and it's hosted by C1aire and the theme is 'Red'. I'd taken my blip when we were up at Haytor and it didn't seem to be on theme until I noticed the only person up on the rocks today was wearing a red jacket! You may have to look at the hi-res version very closely if you want to check but it's true.

Back at home, our telly has been playing up. I'm not sure how long we've had it but it seems quite a while. I decided to do factory reset today to see if that would sort it out. It did but not in the way I'd hoped. I've ordered a new one but in the meantime it's back to the 'dumb TV' brought back from the bedroom. It looks quite small sitting  where the other one was.
