Alf & Liv went to Amsterdam today, Alf booked the earliest train not realising that there are no trains from our local stations that get to London in time to catch the Eurostar.

So I said I’d drive them to the nearest station they could get a train from which was Hitchin or somewhere. At 11 last night all the connecting trains were cancelled so at 3am today I drove them to St Pancras. Oof.

I got home in time for an hours sleep before work, then back to London for a lunch meeting and finally across to Paddington to collector Pops. Really good to see her, very glad she’s home.
