Peeping in through the window

I spent a very pleasant few hours at friend H's place yesterday morning making 'Christmas treats'.  Orange and chocolate was the main theme and l can tell you now that they were all delicious.  We chatted, gossiped, laughed and ate and l thoroughly enjoyed myself although l have to admit to a sugar rush in the cold afternoon.
On the kitchen bench at H's place were a selection of beautifully decorated Christmas cakes which she gives to certain relatives each year, l sneaked a photo and that is todays blip.
I also had the chance to 'test out' another panettone - delicious, this time from a company called 'sous chef'.  I did eschew the offer of a favourite of mine - a glass of Frangelico, even l could see that at 11am it would foretell a bad afternoon when l finally drove home.
