Cedar

The sun was out, the air was crisp so we went to Qualicum Beach.  We shopped, we lunched, then took a lovely forest walk.   For my photo I chose a branch of a young healthy cedar tree...... but also took an extra shot of a massive fallen cedar.  Not sure why it would have been cut down, but it will now be home to lots of forest critters as it rots.
