Shakespeare on the Common

Today, I didn't let the lack of people to hang out with keep me from exploring Boston, and checked the first thing off of my Boston Bucketlist! After taking my car to get its inspection sticker, I headed into Boston and to Boston Common to watch an outdoor showing of The Two Gentlemen of Verona. The play (supposedly Shakespeare's first) has been put on this month for free by the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. Though I often get lost during Shakespeare plays, I thought the show was good overall and had some interesting musical numbers :)

My plan was to finally check out the Boston Public Library, but it was closed by the time I got there. Lucky for me, there was a concert going on in Copley Square as part of the SummerARTs program. Bagpipes + freebies = good outing!
