Same, same...

.... but different.
The birds were happy to see me this morning, this cold snap is making them hungry. Breadcrumbs, no mess bird seed, peanuts, & fat balls, plus a couple of apples. The blackbirds really enjoy the apple.
Went to Mum's a bit earlier this morning. Everyday has it's challenges, mostly looking for misplaced clothes, & stuff in the kitchen. I put food out for the birds. Mum has feeders in the back garden that she can see from the dining room windows, which she really enjoys. I took Mum to see one of her great grandchildren in the school Xmas show. Reception year, plus Eliza's year. I knew Mum would have plenty to say about it, & she did today. I made her breakfast, then Indie & I walked the heath. I spotted 3 deer in the field, they heard us, we stood still, they carried on grazing, we continued our walk.
I drove out to Bovey Tracey to meet Jane for coffee. I got the wrong day. Duh!! It's tomorrow. All was not in vain though. I found a bag in the Rowcroft charity shop, bought meat for Mum in the
butchers then popped down to suss out the newly opened Lidl. Hubby & I really like their bake off croissants with the German ham. Bought fruit for Mum & dried mushrooms for a risotto.
Back to Mum's, we had coffee, then I joined her for some zen colouring while her lunch cooked. Mel, Mums cleaner, rang to say she had a nasty cough so did we want her to clean tomorrow. Better that she leaves it for this week.
Home for lunch then a bit of admin before dropping hubby up the doctors surgery.
I made a roast for dinner tonight.
